Entry 43: "How He Loves"

This is one of my favorite songs by David Crowder Band!! Read through these lyrics and ponder them for a moment...

Verse One:
He is jealous for me, Loves like a hurricane, I am a tree, Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy. When all of a sudden, I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory, And I realise just how beautiful You are, And how great Your affections are for me.

Verse Two:
We are His portion and He is our prize, Drawn to redemption by the grace in His eyes, If grace is an ocean, we’re all sinking. And Heaven meets earth like an unforseen kiss, And my heart turns violently inside of my chest, I don’t have time to maintain these regrets, When I think about, the way…

Chorus:
Yeah he loves us, Oh! how he loves us, Oh! how he loves us, Oh! how he loves!

It talks about how great God is that we are just the insignificant little tree bending over at the weight of his power and glory!! We are nothing compared to Him! And we don't even see it until God opens our eyes and we realize how amazing our God really is and how much he loves us! He gave us grace when he died on that cross...more grace then we can ever imagine or give away ourselves! He is so great and he loves us so much!!!

So i am not a very good writer and at times can't get my thoughts out of my head but i just wanted to share with you all how much I love this song! It encourages me every time i listen to it!!!!

HOW HE LOVES US!!! Oh God, you are so great, help me see you with open and clearer eyes just how wonderful you are!!

Entry 42: "Life Happenings"

I pray you will forgive me for not being on my blog much lately! When I finish school in the next two or three weeks I'm sure I will be on more! : )

So I really have nothing particular to write about...so I thought I would share my daily happenings with you and perhaps I will stumble onto a subject to write about...

If you have read my latest blog post on my photography blog: http://www.capturing-his-creation.blogspot.com/ you would have seen that we received 150 baby chicks this morning!! Yeah you heard right...150!! They were literally born, put in a box, and shipped to our post office in town. One still had yolk and egg shell stuck to itself!

I have been thinking a lot about life in general lately. I don't know why but God has put it in my heart to start thinking about what I can be doing with the gifts and talents He has blessed me with. I'm not quite sure how yet but I'm praying He will show me ways I can day by day. I would appreciate any prayers on this subject! :)

So summer is just around the corner!! I am excited!! Today was very rainy and BLAH but hopefully it will get warmer as the days go by. I had a intense urge to go for a run today in the rain but I wasn't able to. School went for awhile today and I was gone from the house running errands for a few hours. Maybe the next day it rains I will be free.

I am reading a new mystery book I started a few days ago. It is called "Peril At End House." I have really enjoyed it so far! It is by Agatha Christie. She is an incredable author and my favorite mystery writer. I would highly suggest any of her books!

Well looks like I never found a rabbit trail to head down today. Oh well...I hope you have enjoyed seeing my thoughts and happenings over the past few days.

Entry 41: "Fourth Folder...Fourth Picture"

Go to the forth folder in your photos and find the forth photo.
Post that photo on your post (no editin' no croppin' no nothin') and explain what the picture is.
Tag four people.

So this picture is my brother at his 11th birthday. I can't remember what the present is on his lap but i know that year he got a volleyball net, a volley ball, and a new soccer ball.

So let me think of four people to tag.....HMMmmmm

Okay i got it now!!

-Rachael
-Micah
-Josie
-Grace

And if you don't want to do the tag it won't hurt my feelings or anything...just do it if you want too. Oh, and if you already got tagged sorry about that. : )

Thanks for tagging me, hannah! :)
